What Should You Expect?

Sedation options are available, if needed, to ensure that your child is comfortable during treatment. Extractions in pediatric patients are usually simple and relatively fast to complete. We will administer a local anesthetic near the affected tooth to help keep your child comfortable and prevent any pain. After the procedure is complete, our office staff will provide you with care instructions for the rest of the day. Your child can typically resume normal day-to-day activities in about 24 hours.
